Jazz is a Welsh Art Director and Production Designer working across film, music, advertising and fashion. Her work is driven by a love of vintage objects, 60s and 70s design, old Americana and the strange, characterful details found in everyday things.
With a background in Film, TV & Stage Design, Jazz works across the full art department process, from developing visual concepts and sourcing references through to prop making, set dressing and hands on construction. She has a particular interest in creating physical, tactile environments and props, often using found objects, vintage pieces and salvaged materials to build something entirely new.
Her practical skills span scenic painting, prop making, model making, clay modelling, set dressing, sourcing and buying, drafting, basic 3D design and graphic work.
Jazz has worked across music, commercial and film projects with clients and artists including Fontaines D.C., Nike and Carlsberg, alongside work for Luvcat, Yard Act, Circa Waves, Man City and others. Her film work includes Art Directing the Feature Film Merry Christmas Aubrey Flint, as well as working across independent productions and short films.
Originally from North Wales and now working across the UK, Jazz brings a hands on, resourceful approach to every project, combining strong visual research with practical making and a slightly obsessive eye for detail.
